New president Jennifer Brinar has worked in developing recreational programs for children and teens for 17 years. Her passion is improving quality of life for at-risk teens by presenting them with fun and healthy alternatives to a nonproductive lifestyle. Her hands-on approach to working with youth is complemented by her ability to interact with and motivate community leaders, corporate sponsors, local government officials, and volunteers.
Ms. Brinar’s experience includes staff and budget management in her 17 years experience while working in the public, private and non-profit arenas. She has also chaired committees, organized ongoing recreational events, and directed a Youth in Government Day in her previous capacity as the Recreation Supervisor for the City of Modesto, California.
Ms. Brinar’s expertise includes public relations, staff management, conflict resolution, leadership, and presentation skills. She is able to work with diverse groups of people to achieve common goals.
